The draft of this extraordinary measure contains this extraordinary provision: ‘Decisions by the [Treasury] Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency’...

Families urged to fight one mobile phone mast on their doorstep now have another one to beat off - just 20m away.

Earlier this month, calls were made for people to oppose proposals for a 12m Orange mobile phone mast at junction of Earlham Green Lane and Cunningham Road in Earlham.

But it has now emerged that Vodafone wants to install a 12m high imitation telegraph pole about 20m away, close to the junction of Earlham Green Lane and Cunningham Road, and a planning application has already been submitted to Norwich City Council.
