Concerned by the dangers of electromagnetic waves, the City of Hérouville St. Clair has decided to apply a precautionary principle towards the antennas.

By the end of the school year, all Wi-Fi equipment will be removed in primary schools. An information campaign will also be conducted with residents to raise awareness of the risks associated with mobile telephony.

The City also has become a member of Robin roofs and the CRIIREM two associations fighting for the safety of people exposed to new technologies for wireless telecommunications.

These structures are independent will be responsible for undertaking measures to determine the degree of harmfulness of waves emitted by the antennas. Depending on the results, the municipality may require operators to limit its emissions, or even remove their antennas.

Your help required urgently if you travel through Junction 9 on the M6, Wednesbury.

Sandwell council have received a revised planning application for the "Sandwell Gateway Icon".

The original application contained a section which included at least two mobile telephone mast systems to be howsed within the structure. Application DC/08/50100. https://planapps.sandwell.gov.uk/MULTIWAM/showCaseFile.do?appType=Planning&appNumber=DC/08/50100

The recent application has dropped this part. It is our contention that this will enable the structure to stand more chance of being approved, and then at a later date the masts will be installed as there would then be no reason to reject on the grounds of loss of amenity or eyesore etc, as the antenna would be enclosed within the structure and not be seen.

Briefly the Icon will be an 80 meters long and 75 meteres high 3D advertising edific which will be lit up 24/7. A monstrosity.

The original application was withdrawn, as the developer had a 500 name petition submitted to planning, including w-a-r-t and other residents written objections.

It is vital that if you do object as travellers or visitors to the area that your objections are sent BEFORE APRIL 8th.

Interesting study showing that just before people make an error in a task requiring sustained attention, an alpha brainwave pattern appears. Now cellphones are pulse modulated at just over 8Hz, which is a low alpha brainwave state. This entrains brainwaves into the alpha state, which is associated with sleep/trance/internal mindset, i.e. not tuned into the outside world. The Zombie Nation we see around us, in other words.

No question that cellphone radiation will therefore tend to increase errors associated with lack of attention to what's going on around you.

The WHO concedes that cellphone radiation changes brainwaves, but says this is "not a proven health risk". If you are not paying attention when you cross a road, or drive a car, I would say that is a "proven health risk" ....

Council blunders have allowed dozens of mobile phone masts to win planning permission across southern England, a BBC News investigation has revealed.

On 68 occasions, councils have fallen foul of a legal loophole allowing masts to be approved if an operator is not sent an answer within a set time limit.

In 39 of those cases, the council had intended to object to the application.

A catalogue of errors has been uncovered across the BBC South region using the Freedom of Information Act.
