Furious locals vow to halt mobile mast

NORTHSIDE Travellers have joined forces with the settled community in furious opposition to a recently erected mobile mast.

Residents at St Margaret’s Travellers’ Accommodation in Ballymun banded together with their neighbours in Carton Terrace recently to force stoppage on the completion of the controversial Vodafone mast.

Hemel phone masts revealed

More than 50 powerful mobile phone masts now top buildings and dot streets and fields across Hemel Hempstead.

But despite health concerns over the antennas, clear information on where telecoms firms install their kit is hard to find.

The council is only able to supply residents with a long list of mast sites covering the whole of Dacorum.
